I know it’s not super big or exciting right now, but I’m happy with it. I haven’t painted in a really really (really!) long time. Maybe only once or twice since the pandemic started. As I mentioned before, I’ve had a difficult time dealing with everything that was (and still is) going on. I was in a fog. Just going thru the motions, just getting by. I wasn’t doing anything creative really. I was, at best, just surviving.

But something happened at the end of 2020. Maybe it was the hopes of a vaccine that would be available soon, or that a new administration (with a president who has feelings/heart/integrity/compassion) would take over in January. Whatever it was, I felt like a veil had been removed, and I felt like I started coming back to life. I started planning making dinners again, making cookies and banana bread (my banana bread game is strong!) I started coloring stamped images for moms cards. I even (finally) painted…
