I'm excited to announce that I am participating in elle luna's The 100 Day Project. This is a free, global art project that anyone can participate in. If you create, or want to create, you're in. All you have to do is create something for 100 days (april 4th through july 12th) and post it on Instagram using the hashtag #The100dayproject and your own unique hashtag. That's it! Don't worry, you don't have to create a masterpiece everyday and you won't get in trouble with the art police if you miss a day. The point is to get you to make time and commit to making/doing what you love, consistently.

After much deliberation, I decided to do 100 days of abstract paintings. I will be creating 100 small abstract oil/acrylic/mixed media paintings. I want to practice creating abstracts and playing with paint (something I don't do well.) I expect many tears and many days of not wanting to post my project because I deem it "not good." If I keep at it and not let my judgement stop me, I know it will only benefit me.
