WIP Wednesday - Making time to do what you love

Why is it that if you love to do something, it's often the last thing you get around to doing? I love painting, but I never seem to make it a priority. It's something that I do when I'm finished with the dishes, the laundry, paying bills, when the moon is full on a Tuesday and the wind is out of the east at 15mph... You get the idea. It's never ever a priority.

I keep seeing little inspirational posts on pinterest that say something along the lines of"find what you love. Do more of that." I stopped and thought about that for a bit. I love to hang out with friends and chat over coffee (or wine.) When was the last time I did that? I love to paint, yet I haven't painted in MONTHS. I love to go out and take photos, but it's been several weeks... so I'm recommitting to making time for painting, for photography, and for friends. There. I said it. I made it public. Now I just need some help keeping me accountable!
