Autumn at the Anderson Japanese Garden (Rockford, IL)

Fall this year was absolutely spectacular! The colors were especially vibrant and we had a perfect two week stretch in the middle of October where we had perfect weather and amazing colors. The leaves seemed to change overnight! I made it out to the Anderson Japanese Garden a few days after a really bad wind/rain storm so I feel like a lot of the leaves had been blown off, but really, I couldn’t complain- it was magical just being in that soothing, relaxing environment on a PERFECT sunny day.

I was too busy enjoying the colors and the bright blue sky that I didn’t take many photos. Oh darn, looks like I have to go back next year! :D
