What's happening?!

Happy Summer ya'll! I hope you all are doing well and are able to get out and about and enjoy the longer summer days! Let's see... what's been going on over here? Not a whole heck of a lot, actually. I've been spending my weekends hanging out with my grams, keeping her company, while my mom goes to work (she only works weekends!) I've been busy with my etsy shop, and updating my mom's etsy shop, i've done a little freelance graphic design work for an old friend, and trying to have some sort of social life. I've been to a few concerts (the most recent being Swell Season--really, if you're into this kind of music, you HAVE to see them the next time they come to chicago!!! They were INCREDIBLE!) I even went to see Avenue Q! (think of Sesame Street, but for the 30-something crowd)

That's been my summer so far!

I am excited that a good friend opened up her own scrapbook shop this month-- it's in Arlington Heights and it's called Craft Fancy. It's such a cool place and she's got the cutest stuff!!! Really, this makes me want to get into paper scrapbooking again! (it's a good thing I still have most of my supplies!!!) Their Grand Opening is this weekend, Saturday and Sunday (June 28th and 29th!) so if you are in the area, you should stop by and support a great local gal!!!!
