Arsenic & Old Lace- opens this weekend!

Well hello! Long time, no?
It's been a busy coupla weeks! Last week I spent most of the week hanging out with my grandma while mom went to work. Over the weekend and some of this week, I've been busy helping a friend out with his production of Arsenic and Old Lace. I did the postcard, poster and banner designs as well as spent a great number of hours (hours and hours and hours) painting the set! (I will never paint stripes on a wall again!) I've got to admit-- the set looks INCREDIBLE! The show opens this Saturday-- if you're in the Chicagoland area, you should check it out! It's a really great show with a fabulous and talented cast AND it has a FABULOUS set!

The enduring comedy classic, ARSENIC & OLD LACE is farcical genius.
Poor Mortimer Brewster, a theatre-hating drama critic who must deal
with his crazy, homicidal family and local police in Brooklyn, New
York, while he debates whether to go through with his recent promise
to marry the woman he loves. Meanwhile his sweet spinster aunts have
taken to murdering lonely old men by poisoning them with a glass of
home-made elderberry wine laced with arsenic, strychnine, and "just a
pinch" of cyanide. Add a sweet brother who believes he is Teddy
Roosevelt and another brother who's not so nice and is running from
the law with his alcoholic accomplice, Dr. Einstein, and you've got
one unforgettable show! Don't miss it!
